This service is very oversold in many markets. I am on it currently, and it went completely to pot after the $25 promo in December. If I had any other option, I would jump at it, this service is so unreliable I have to use my phone much of the time. If you are lucky, this could be a great budget option, but most are going to be in internet hell! Rant over...😄

FWIW, I switched to this service in December to take advantage of the $25/mo offer. I've been very impressed by the speed and reliability. Speed Test results are typically around 600 down and about 300 up, but it goes without saying that your results will most definitely vary by location/market, time of day, router placement, etc. I'm fairly sure you have a trial period (and there's no contract anyway), so it's a low or no risk option to try it out.

I have been a TMHI customer for a year and a half, and the last 3 months have been miserable. I am located in Central Florida. For more input from other users you can check out the TMHI subreddit, many are having the same issues I am. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobileisp/#sort=new

Joined in Feb 2023. Pay $ 30 monthly vs $ 70 for ATT DSL.

Reliable about 95% of the time with speeds up to 500 mbps. It's the other 5% that will cause me to go back to ATT if fiber becomes available. Maybe 10 times a day I get "no internet available," lasting from 30 seconds to a few minutes. It goes back on by itself. Irritating when watching the news, sports events. What about a disconnect halfway through transmitting a tax return or trying to buy stocks?

It also gives out incorrect locations. When I order food for pickup, if I'm not careful, the pickup location will be 50 miles away. Couldn't use HULU live because the changing locations suggest password sharing. Like others, I went to ™ internet, with its promise of limited availability. As they now seem to give it to everybody that wants it, speeds decline and disconnects increase.

A final thought. I'm in a condo directly facing the ™ tower 1/2 mile away. Residents on the back side of the building cancelled immediately, when speeds were only 5 mbps.

I was impressed when the service came to Phoenix, AZ a few years back but now it's so congested it's not worth it. The streaming services are CONSTANTLY loading mid-show. It's not the same as it was. Based on the comments, it probably had something to do with many jumping on it when it was at a $25 promo on December which is when I noticed the sharp decline in performance.

In my area the service can can be broken down in 3 speeds during he day.

Peak (office hrs): 2-5 Mbps:
Mid Peak (Post office hours like 4- 8 pm): 50-100 mbs:
Off-Peak: (Late nights and early mornings): Very fast 200-300mbps.

I got that $25 deal for my parents, who rarely use the internet. So it is ok. However, I don't recommend it if you need stable bandwidth.

That's how post paid service works. They check your credit because they charge you after you used the service for a month. You don't pay anything up front. Plus in this case they lend you the modem/router for free.

Get a prepaid service if you want to avoid a credit check. Metro 5g home internet is the exact same thing at t-mobile 5g home internet but is prepaid. There's no credit checks but you have to buy the modem and pay for the first month up front.
A voice plan is required to sign up for Home Internet for Metro.

I have this for half a year at 25/m. Reliable and no complaints. Not ultra fast in my area but most of the time I don't notice the differences.

Don't do it. I live in the capital of cell towers (Hollywood) and it was the worst 6 months of my internet life. It's not worth the misery.

Good deal but I only get 2 bars on my cellphone
I am even surprised that it is offered in my area since I only get 2 bar at home. Anyway, I ordered one to try. There is a 15 days trial period.

I switched to Tmobile 5g internet couple of months ago & the service is pathetic as far as i am seeing here in Houston and surrounding areas. Planning to switch back to wired internet, as connection drops off frequently & have to switch to mobile hotspot for working. It can't even stream on amazon prime and keep on buffering.
As asked i have kept the router at best possible location but still no luck.
All the best who are trying - suggestions to keep as you secondary ISP.

Just cancelled today, the speeds were too slow and had very spotty service. Had to go back to Xfinity as Verizon 5g is not available yet in my area.
