I paid only one month of service, and let it sit in the box. It's automatically unlocked 180 days later.

Am I the only one terrified of going into a metro store. Have read so many horror stories of mangers making up their own rules (requiring insurance, buying cases, requiring 3 months of service)

I was just browsing the Metro site and noticed that they are offering a similar $0 promo on a bunch of Android phones - are any of those worth going for?

Thats $6 bucks with shipping. Screw that. I rather stick with a GV unlocked for $3!
Ah crap they changed the free shipping offer and also don't do esims in the checkout page. My bad.

Take an esim. It's 1 dollar only. Provided you have a device with esim available.

Check my recent comment. They just don't know about the deal. Tell them to process it, and it will come up as the OP described.
No these workers just make shit up as they go along, whatever helps their bottom line and meets their quotas.

I mean how do you not know about a promotion that's all over your company's homepage, and you are a corporate store.

I just did the deal for the A23 online - no hassle and good for a backup.
There are no corporate Metro stores anywhere near me.
I will still try for the iPhone 11 deal but will have to try my luck with an authorized dealer.

At least for the next few weeks I'll get some extra TMO Tuesdays swag.
The upcoming MLS season is a great perk.

Visited two corporate stores in Dublin, CA and Livermore, CA both are out of stock. one of the store manager was saying they might not get any more stock and next model may be available for 99$ or 129$ soon.
Hope i can get that deal.
Called my corporate stores to see when they would get some in and they confirmed that they heard the same thing. That they won't be getting in much more IP11 but the next promo should be for $99 IP12.

Omg - if you have a Metro account already the iPhone 11 is 30 bucks out the door with a port as it bumps you to a family plan and there's no activation. This is today only. The A14 is 30 bucks today too, since it's free when adding a new line (no port needed).

This is in store only, at corporate most likely.

For the A14, are you doing it online or in-store? If I go online and select "Need a new number" and then add it to my cart, it prompts me that a new account will be created that is separate from my existing account. So it sounds like the cost of the line would be $40 (is activation free?).

For the free A23, this one requires the $50 plan - would it be worth the additional $10 over the A14? Forgive me if this is obvious as I'm not familiar with Android phones at all.
