Once you have quality tea like teapigs, Yorkshire/Taylor's of harrogate etc...Lipton feels like such garbage. I'm sure there's other loose leaf teas even better than what I mentioned. I'm sure this is a good deal but it's not good tea
Oh it's definitely garbage tea. ;P But at the volume I drink it, this is a wonderful deal.

For hot tea, I'd agree but when it comes to making gallons of iced tea (which is specifically what this is designed for) loose tea is a nightmare to deal with due to the volume required. The flavor profile of specialty quality teas doesn't come through quite rhe same once iced and sweetened. Lol, those teas are more for fancy folks. Here in the South we do indeed drink sweet tea by the gallons. Keeping a pitcher of Lipton on standby all summer long is almost mandatory 😆

Thanks. I got in on the last deal. I cold brew it. I put a bag in a pitcher (filled with water of course) at night in the fridge and then discard the bag in the morning.

I'd far prefer un-expiring previous threads have much more activity and discussion.
This is 3 lb, so equivalent to SIX standard boxes of 100 regular tea bags (which are 8 oz each and I used to be able to buy for around $2 on sale).
