I like these. I picked up a couple of boxes last time and I'm still working my way through them.

I like to throw a bag and 4 cups of water in my Instant Pot for 4 minutes. Makes great tea concentrate. I use the concentrate and half & half for a great milk tea without all the sugar and carbs, minus the boba. My go to treat.

Why do the ice tea bags taste different than the regular tea bags?

Thanks for the post. I had these in my cart awaiting a price drop. They make very adequate sun tea.

Yes, it's artificial sweetener but not horrible

How do you make milk tea from concentrate? How much water do you add after? Which sweetener do you use? Tyia

My first reaction when I read this, I will not lie, was "uh oh, another person who has an IP hammer, and everything looks like a nail?" But I googled the idea and found this page [twosleevers.com], which includes a "scientific" explanation (or at least a good facsimile of one!) for why this works well, and might actually be a superior brew method (as well as more convenient).

Thanks for turning me on to this idea, my apologies for the initial skepticism!

I use 1 of these gallon sized tea bags and 4 cups of water for the concentrate, made in 4 minutes using a pressure cooker. Then about 6:1 ratio, tea to half&half.

I don't use sweetener but you could use anything really. My wife uses a bit of honey. Or you can use regular milk for a slightly sweeter flavor but less creamy, compared to half&half.

You'll need to adjust the tea to cream/milk ratio depending on what you use.
