Assuming the sale is valid in store as well, I think this $10 off $50 [sherwin-williams.com] should stack.

Don't forget the Pottery Barn $15 off $75 coupon!

Their shelf prices are way overpriced to begin with so this brings it to same price point of competitors. I do like their urethane based trim paint but the price tag on shelf was around $110 which is definitely not worth it without at least 25%+ off. Contractors pricing is of course lower and could be negotiated depending on volumes of paint bought throughout the year.
One trick with these sales is to buy the paint untinted. You can always go back and add whatever tint you need when you are ready to paint. You can also return untinted paint within 30 days if you want to buy now and think it over.
Agreed, unless you get discounted pricing I don't see how it could be worth it outside of convenience. Lowes has SW paint at much lower prices. I used the top tier one that SW has at Lowes for most of my house(interior) and was very pleased with it. I waited until they had a rebate sale (I believe it was $10 off per gallon). The rebate deals pop up once in awhile. I used the middle tier SW paint for closets/low traffic areas and that was pretty good too. Was noticeably different when applying, but still a good paint that I would say for most people is plenty good enough to do the whole house.

Not available at either of my local stores. I'm scratching my head because I've never run into that issue before. Gonna give a call tomorrow. Unfortunately I need it this weekend so I may end up with el cheapo HD or Lowe's paint.

If I just want to repaint my walls flat white, does this make much of a difference compared to Lanco paint, which is around $25 a gallon at Walmart?

Are you telling me their "regular price" of a gallon of paint is now near $86?

SW is way overrated. Skip this and buy Behr or Glidden, you'll get a paint that covers better, goes on better, and lasts longer.

Yep. For comparison, the regular price of a gallon of Benjamin Moore Aura paint is $98.99. https://store.benjaminmoore.com/s...ura/p/N522

Don't let me catch you in Kendale with a bucket of wealthy-man's paint.

I've never seen sales, unless it's something like a (small) deal at Ace Hardware (not sure if they still carry BM).

Benjamin Moore Interior contractor grade paint (Ben) does not cover well. Tried an off-white last year and ended up painting over it with SW Super Paint. (I think Ben is the contractor grade.)
Yup Ace does still sell BM, not sure if Ben is necessarily the contractor grade, but I do know its the lower end stuff. I've tried ben and it does cover a little more thin, when it comes to a cheap one coat I actually went w/ Home Depots Dynasty, they dont have as many colors, but the colors that they do have are really nice, they're also one coat as well and are very easy to apply. I use BM for other places though typically like bathrooms and ceilings or if I really want a specific color or need an exterior grade paint. BM has a really nice bathroom paint called Aura and as far as I know its the only brand w/ a matte bathroom paint.

I haven't used Lanco. But the main difference is probably a whole lot less money in your wallet. You def don't need overpriced SW for that project.
