Anyone having issues importing a previous years return into H&R 2022?

Import starts but eventually the app just crashes. Event Viewer shows an issue with DataTierAPI.dll

The file Im importing opens fine in H&R 2021 so its not a corrupt file AFAIK.

EDIT: FYI - figured it out. Looks like password-protection is an issue, I dont remember ever having it before but I opened the previous return file, disabled password protection (by making "new password" blank) and then it imported fine into 2022.

Great deal! I paid $35 for HR Deluxe because I use an HSA. If anyone knows a way around that I'd really appreciate it Smilie I live in FL so no state income.

My taxes are very simple but for some reason I had to return this because it was giving less refund than free Turbo Tax. They couldn't figure it out.

Why you need deluxe for using hsa? I thought using hsa is very common? Like all my deductable comes out of hsa contributions.
