Normally with food in Amazon warehouse, it means it is about to expire and they need to unload it quickly.

Bags don't really reseal well, have to use binder clips.
Yuban grade stuff usually has at least 1 year before expiration, but perhaps they are more generous with what they consider fresh because they are definitely stale well before that time.
