I find that the natural brands aren't as effective. I get severely chapped lips and this is the only one that helps, and it works pretty fast.
Not saying that can't serve a purpose, but I'd have to imagine it's not the same thing as one with oils (coconut oil, plant/fruit oils), moisturizers, sunscreens, etc.
I've found it tough to know which I'm going to like without actually just trying it. I suspect that's why most people tend to just find one they like and stick with it.

However all are better than normal Chapstick, which is "addictive". As in lips dried out faster resulting in more applications. I personally avoid the brand Chapstick.
It's good to see Chapstick with a natural line, but 2.5X+ the cost.
Perhaps you have an allergic reaction to an ingredient? Almost all the reviews of the natural brands are good.
