You bought 1 inch and the post was for Olympic size (2 inch)
Oooooh, I'm telling! He used a bad word.
Update: I am only using the bar for Squats now and love how easy it is to walk out and rack the bar in comparison to my Rogue Ohio Bar. I was getting a little tendonitis in my left wrist while benching with this bar probably because of the larger diameter (I have small hands, no jokes) and when I switched back to the Rogue it was no longer an issue.
For $30 this was a great pickup!
Very impressed with Walmart CS. May finally quit Amazon Prime and sign up for Walmart+.

To be honest, I'm surprised it got here at all.
Came with the clips at the end. It was in decent enough shape considering how it was shipped so I'm not complaining for the $30.

A seven foot long 45lb/20kg bar requires a fair amount of strength to handle and keep balanced in your hands or on your body. If you can handle that, you will (at least if you're male but even if you're female) be potentially able to scale up to a 315 deadlift in relatively short order. Three plates and you exceed the weight limit. Don't go snapping this bar and shooting jagged metal ends at your face.
If you aren't powerlifting, it seems more appropriate to go with a 35 lb bar or smaller purpose-built bars (maybe a curl bar) or a standard 1" diameter 15 lb bar.
But I get it, this bar is cheaper than a dumbbell. Just be safe, lol.
