It is also great for the elderly or anyone with limited dexterity, like someone recovering from an injury (broken wrist) or stroke who it is not safe to lift a pot of boiling water.
This is as simple as it gets and is much faster than a stove.
But what has sold me on the electric or microwave egg cookers is how perfect the eggs come out every time. I make deviled eggs often for church and charity events and eggs cooked this way come out looking and peeling perfectly.
