That's what I'm thinking. Literally the easiest thing to make. Just add water and boil for 20.

It is also great for the elderly or anyone with limited dexterity, like someone recovering from an injury (broken wrist) or stroke who it is not safe to lift a pot of boiling water.
This is as simple as it gets and is much faster than a stove.
But what has sold me on the electric or microwave egg cookers is how perfect the eggs come out every time. I make deviled eggs often for church and charity events and eggs cooked this way come out looking and peeling perfectly.
If presentation of hard boiled eggs matters, this is the way to go.
