Mostly positive reviews in the websites, but some mention that it is flimsy and cleaning issues. I am yet to try it

Brickseek says "Unknown" all around me. The Homedepot inventory checker always works perfectly compared to Walmart's.

I'm not a fan. The "paper" is glossy, yet not so the pen glides faster and easier which makes my handwriting worse. I sometimes smudge the ink. I just don't really see what it can do that a regular notebook and one drive document scan can't. I do like the reusable aspect, but not at the cost of losing out on the real paper feel.

Thanks for the post! I'm going to see if I can find it at my local Walmart!

Where did you find this? In the electronics section or the office supplies?

Same here, I want to like it because of the reusable aspect but I feel like an iPad and a knock off apple pencil works well. What I love about using my ipad is I can grab and relocate hand written text, typed text, and anything else really. Plus you can just keep going and going and never have to turn the page and anything. I've been looking at these for awhile just hard to jump on it.

Brickseek stopped reporting inventory for Walmart ,maybe 4 or so moths ago. It's mainly used for price now. It's going down the shitter . But if you can use the app and it says that store has the item it should be the price bs shows

My thoughts exactly. Reusing is great, but erasing every page with wet microfiber towel after filling it up is pita. The paper does get dirty if you let the notes sit there for a month.

I was gifted one a couple years ago. It works, but as my coworker jokingly pointed out you can write on a regular notepad, take a picture of it, and have exactly the same effect. Cleaning is annoying and it requires a special pen. Also I am left-handed so it would always smudge because it's like writing on plastic.

Really wanted to like it but as a lefty just could not handle the smearing - tried multiple frixion type pens and all were bad

I have this one (a referral bonus for WGU) and I have the steno size version. I don't use either one. The pages are slick and, while they do clean off relatively clearly, in my experience they start showing indentions after minimal use which makes me dislike it. Also the Frixion pens can be "erased" from other surfaces besides the rocketbook, it just happens to be clearer, because it's smooth laminate type pages. Think magazine cover, that's the density/feel of the pages.

I think if you are avid and highly organized in your note taking, and have a reason to have those notes easily digitized, these are worth it. For me if you just like jotting down notes quickly and prefer a specific tactile experience as part of that process, I would avoid. Just my two cents.
