I own two sets of these for about a year. Sound quality is ok (dont expect heavy bass) but you can hear everything around you when listening to music. I wear them when walking my dogs so i can hear if traffic is coming, or working on the car, watching tv at night, etc. I use a headset for work and i'll play music in between calls. It sounds like you have the radio going on in the background when using them. You can turn the volume up pretty loud and nobody around you can really hear them. The speaker is pointed at your ear, it's not a loud speaker that's just blasting audio in different directions. Charger is magnetic and never had problems charging them.
I have 3 pairs of these and absolutely love them! So first things first, they are not for everyone. Like mentioned by others, they can leak a lot of sound when its a quiet setting and on the highest volume setting. This can be annoying, but for me, most of I have it a little more than half volume when working, and others can not hear it. They are not great as far as bass or have amazing sound quality, but make up for this in other ways with making speech easier to hear, which i love for audio books. I am a person who gets annoyed with wearing buds for more than a few hours, so these make things a lot more comfortable for long hours uses. Since I work in a warehouse and there are forklifts passing by quickly, it is important for me to be able to hear things around me, which these allow. If someone comes around to talk to me, they can easily drown out the sound of the headphones without me having to turn them down, making it so I don't have to constantly take out my phone or use the side controllers just for a quick interaction from a coworker.

Why do I have so many?
It's not because I broke them but because I have one for my car, one for work and one for home when doing general chores. Plus they are way cheaper at 15 from when I bought them at 45 when they came out.

Last thing I have accidentally put these in the washer machine twice and they have both survived easily... whoops lol
These would make a nice gift for a mail carrier or delivery driver. I know mail carriers are not allowed to use earbuds and headphones because they restrict their ability to hear things that could be dangerous not to hear (dogs, vehicles, etc.) but most managers are cool with the open ear audio options.

These look great for open-ear audio when biking and way cheaper and more versatile than those bulky Bose sunglasses or bone-conducting headphones. Yeah they look a little dorky, but obviously these aren't meant to be earbud replacements, the main use case is for safety and awareness when you need to hear your surroundings.

For the love of god, please don't use these when you're out shopping… or anywhere in the general public.
Why???

I have the RAZER glasses.
Function over fashion, so TU!
If you don't want to jam in earbuds, these probably work great for low noise areas or in the car to keep safe.

So do these sit there and not charge when on the charger that way when you want to use them they do nothing then you have to align them just right and try again? Just like nearly every other modern Bluetooth sound device I've tried to use?
What kind of stuff are you using? I have a couple $15 sets of earbuds w/charging case and this has literally never been an issue with either kind.

Because no one wants to hear your phone calls or music blasting near them. Shopping, on public transit, waiting rooms…please don't be that person. Someone's suggestion for a postal worker or delivery driver, YES. Great idea for them!

So this enables everyone else to hear what you're listening to? I'm confused as to how this would substitute normal earbuds.

The sound gets directed toward your ears.

They're no worse than wearing open back headphones in public... not that you should be doing that either.

How quick/easy is it to remove it? Seriously considering for biking, especially since I wear prescription glasses anyways. These do fit normal thin frames, right?
