This price is basically standard. You can usually find these for $20 most the time, that MSRP is a joke. Last time I got mine it was 12 or 15$ I think.

Coffee nuts say the chemex coffee pour over and the paper filters are superior, and to the filter it comes with. And you'll need a good gooseneck kettle to make a coffee nut cup of coffee, but still fresh coffee can't be beat.
It looks like the Amazon link shows 41.99 and the target one won't load, but Walmart looks good. Might just grab one

You will break this thing, its fragile as stated, and very awkward to clean while being very thin, chemistry glass thin, so you will slip or tap the thin lip on something and then its gone.
Get a ceramic cone.

There is no advantage to the bodum design, even for pouring its awkward, the entire thing is sold on its visual design.
