Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again
I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.
It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

That's the RX-V385 webpage
Says it does eArc.
It's true it limits you to only 60Hz for video- but eArc solves that- you send the video direct to the display and earc the sound back to the AVR.
(course if you're a serious gamer you'd still be fine without earc- you run one connection from your 4090 GPU to the high refresh display, then a second connection from the 4090 to the AVR just for audio
As to Atmos- the list of games supporting it remains pretty short (and a decent # of those are just different entries in a few different series) so that's pretty far from a broad "no go" for gaming.
Could not have been easier. Walked directly to customer service, showed them the SKU and ordered it at the clearance price no issue. Best Buy rep didn't blink an eye. I was out in literally two minutes.
Probably should have bought a second set. Only minor gripe is that they could not ship, I have to pick it up at the store next week.
