Been using a RX-V385 for about a month in one of my systems and it's extremely nice for a budget receiver. If you're running all your sources through this Yamaha first, make sure it's on the input you want to pass-through before powering off.

None of my local stores are showing inventory but show order for pick up at full price. So if I go to the store and have them order it will ring up at the clearance price? Thanks in advance

Newbie here to surround sound….
Do the wireless adapters to these things work well? I have a pretty decent size living room and I don't want wires going all over, especially to the rear. I see that there are wireless kits available for the rear speakers like this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08RWDN263#Ask

https://www.svsound.com/products/...io-adapter [svsound.com]

Thanks in advance.
Yes those will work.

$448 in my area, which is ridiculously high. $220 is about right for this budget setup. That $650 retail tag is beyond hilarious. LMAO

Pretty sure one of the "quiet quitter" Best Buy kids wasn't paying attention and marked it down TO $220, rather than TAKE OFF the $220, given the price here. laugh out loud
Apparently the "quiet quitter" kids are in every BB across the country...

You went to a store this morning to confirm?

If you're just referencing the online price, then you're doing it wrong, you have to go to a store.

Price could have changed overnight as a lot of their new sale prices start on Sunday each week.

I'm seeing a few comments about how to hook this unit up so it plays surround sound from devices connected directly to the TV (consoles, STB, etc.).
It's pretty much plug and play. With any recent TV (10 years old and less), you'll find an HDMI input called "ARC" or "eARC". This is the input you connect to the output of the receiver. Once you turn on both the receiver and your TV, it should set up automatically. If no, check the settings, specifically the sound section.

Full price only in south FL. Shame, in the market for a 5.1 system.
You need to ask them to check in their system. They also checked on app and said it was same price, I asked them to doh me check in store system and it was 220.
