Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again
I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.
It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

If you're lucky he scanned it with the handheld (which will show the online price) and doesn't realize it is on clearance, and it is still there.

You go in the store, pick it up, take it to the register, and pay. Pretty straightforward. May need an employee to get it off a shelf or from the back. Or alternately have them order one for you for pickup at the clearance price.
Pretty sure one of the "quiet quitter" Best Buy kids wasn't paying attention and marked it down TO $220, rather than TAKE OFF the $220, given the price here.
