Dude have you read through any of the comments? With so many people still commenting that they missed the deal, it's obvious how many people don't take a little time browse through the comments to track the progress of the deal.

Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again

$220 for a Name brand 5.1 4k receiver? And speakers? And a sub? Maybe 10 years ago.

I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.

It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

Lol yeah I get paid? Could care less. I'd rather have the jamo setup and no sub vs a subar system with a sub. Must not know how to shop around on marketplace.

Edit I didn't even give a link for the jamo deal so how am I pushing it?
That's nice that you'd rather have the deal you posted, I'd rather have a sub and a solid brand new receiver. And so would the hundreds of people who bought this in here today.

Regardless, I'm very happy with my purchase after setting it up and think it sounds amazing for the price.

It varies by region since ordering by SKU is essentially just transferring stock from a neighboring bestbuy.

Go to bb.com and see if it lets you order for pickup at a later date. If so, you can order in store at the clearance price for pickup at a later date. If it says unavailable for pickup, then you're out of luck.
As long as the warehouse has them in stock, other BBs do not have to have stock. I can order 5 online right now and there are only 2 showing in stock in my entire state.

Store transfer vs. warehouse is determined by the computer. If I order 1 at a store showing out of stock, it shows available in a couple days. If I order 5, it shows 5 days. Obviously one is coming from a store vs. 5 coming from warehouse.

You are correct, I just assumed no warehouses had them because it's been on clearance at this price for about a month now.

So they must have a warehouse stocked full of these things.

$448 in my area, which is ridiculously high. $220 is about right for this budget setup. That $650 retail tag is beyond hilarious. LMAO

Pretty sure one of the "quiet quitter" Best Buy kids wasn't paying attention and marked it down TO $220, rather than TAKE OFF the $220, given the price here. laugh out loud
Just made it negative 101 to keep it going. Quiet quitters!? Still find that hilarious 😆

I believe with all the supply chain issues that happened last year, such as boats waiting to dock at ports, I think there is an over supply of products. I would imagine this is part of the reason why this is so cheap. no?

First rule of slickdeals is you don't call and ask them to price check. All you do is just check the website to see if the store has it in stock. If it does, great, just go there, carry the box to check out and the register will ring it up to the correct price.

The store doesn't have any? No problem. Go to the store's TV or sound area and an employee will ask if you need any help. Just ask them to look up if they have the sku in stock (already knowing that they don't have any there). I showed them the best buy page (NOT slickdeals). They'll the full price (not an issue) on the page and the SKU which they use to check inventory on hand and say no sorry we don't have any in stock here, but we can help you order it. You just nod politely and say "sure that's what I want. I'll do in-store pickup." They punch the sku into the register, it automatically rings up for the adjusted price and you pay for it.

You don't need to ask them for a price check or try to show them that you saw it on Slickdeals or wherever. Just get them to start the order and it'll adjust. You have to be in store.

If for some reason at the step where you are literally about to tap/swipe your credit card to pay and it's still showing full price, then just say sorry you changed your mind and walk away.

Since last few months, I am waiting for projectors to be in oversupply.

Not a scam. Just had an employee order one for in store pick up. $238.12 after taxes. He did say it's possible it won't ship if the stock is depleted.

I followed your advice to the T and just came back from my SoCal best buy and ordered it at $221 + tax. I made sure I didn't bring it up the pricing until they rang it up which came up as $221!

Thank you!
