Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again
I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.
It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

Edit I didn't even give a link for the jamo deal so how am I pushing it?
Regardless, I'm very happy with my purchase after setting it up and think it sounds amazing for the price.
Go to bb.com and see if it lets you order for pickup at a later date. If so, you can order in store at the clearance price for pickup at a later date. If it says unavailable for pickup, then you're out of luck.
Store transfer vs. warehouse is determined by the computer. If I order 1 at a store showing out of stock, it shows available in a couple days. If I order 5, it shows 5 days. Obviously one is coming from a store vs. 5 coming from warehouse.

Pretty sure one of the "quiet quitter" Best Buy kids wasn't paying attention and marked it down TO $220, rather than TAKE OFF the $220, given the price here.
The store doesn't have any? No problem. Go to the store's TV or sound area and an employee will ask if you need any help. Just ask them to look up if they have the sku in stock (already knowing that they don't have any there). I showed them the best buy page (NOT slickdeals). They'll the full price (not an issue) on the page and the SKU which they use to check inventory on hand and say no sorry we don't have any in stock here, but we can help you order it. You just nod politely and say "sure that's what I want. I'll do in-store pickup." They punch the sku into the register, it automatically rings up for the adjusted price and you pay for it.
You don't need to ask them for a price check or try to show them that you saw it on Slickdeals or wherever. Just get them to start the order and it'll adjust. You have to be in store.
If for some reason at the step where you are literally about to tap/swipe your credit card to pay and it's still showing full price, then just say sorry you changed your mind and walk away.
