Dude have you read through any of the comments? With so many people still commenting that they missed the deal, it's obvious how many people don't take a little time browse through the comments to track the progress of the deal.

Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again

$220 for a Name brand 5.1 4k receiver? And speakers? And a sub? Maybe 10 years ago.

I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.

It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

This receiver has been posted here a number of times for $199. So you're basically getting an 8-in subwoofer and satellite speakers for $20. Not a terrible deal when comparing to better sound bars with subs.

Anyone using this for gaming as well
On ps5 and Xbox? Also I thought these units were a thing of the past compared to the newer setups that are wireless or soundbars that take less space. I'm surprised how many people bought this. Not knocking it just thought stereo receivers were a relic in todays day.

Checked in BestBuy Round Rock, one of the rudest customer care service ever encountered.
Bad break, worst service I ever got was from a Hobby Lobby

I was hesitant to get the V385 at $199.00 but found an open box for $150.00 about a month ago that I couldn't pass up. If I didn't get that deal I would have jumped on this one and tried to sell the speakers and sub for $75.00.

I think somebody mentioned reading a review on Best Buy where they said they had an issue playing it on their PS5. Someone else on SD replied that it was possible to just output video to the TV and instead use the receiver for just sound, so hopefully that'll solve the issue.

Home theater setups take up more space, but offer better sound quality and immersion compared to a wireless soundbar. Might just be a case of people thinking that a soundbar is good enough or they don't have the resources (money, space, and/or time) to bother with setting up a 5.1.0.

Got one from 10950. Once I found it in AV section, directly took it for check out. Total paid $238.95.

Thanks OP! Repped.

(Ps. Still don't understand why it's so hard for some people to figure out this deal. Just go to BB store, if YHT-4950U is there then take it and check out. If it's not there, go to customer service and order one for store pickup! In either case price will be $220.99+tax)

Also wondering on this bit. Any suggestions on how to wall mount these. My house is "pre wired"
Look at the back of the speakers, if they have a threaded hole then you can buy articulating wall mounts cheap in packs of 2 or 4 from Amazon. You can get them at BB too probably just for 5x the price.

Soundbars are a compromise, less surround sound effect and less sound quality in return for smaller form factor and more convenience to set up.

I do believe many people run their game consoles direct to the TV then use the eARC or digital connection to the receiver so that nothing is interfere ring with the video path which may have too high a frame rate for the receiver.

This is an entry level surround sound setup but will be much better than any sound bar.

They probably checked bestbuy.com since 99% of the time the prices match. It's $221 at all stores, but must be rung up at the register or in RSS.

Many prefer to do that anyway, the convenience of HDMI switching is nice but in these lower end receivers you may end up interfering with the video quality, especially for high FPS stuff. That is why eARC is so sought after, it sends uncompressed digital audio from the TV to the receiver so no matter what you have plugged into the TV it comes via the receiver.

The only catch is some TVs only output 2.0 (not surround sound) but I think that stopped years ago, if the TV supports ARC or eARC it should support passing surround sound from one HDMI to another.
