Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again
I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.
It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

First guy at store tried telling me was $650 still (refusing to look up sku) so I grabbed another employee who had no problem pulling up price with said SKU

LG ACC97WK is discontinued but pops up on ebay for $30-$50, no kits there right now just a couple with receiver only which is not going to help you. But if you wait it out, it is a good setup, I've used it, actually have one sitting in the closet.
Looks like there are some of the rocketfish kits on ebay for $50ish used too. I've never used any of those, seems to have good reviews. It runs on 2.4ghz so could interfere with wifi or bluetooth, but so does the LG and they claim to coexist by finding available spectrum. There are 5 ghz kits out there but more expensive (like the dynasty).
The other option is to get a non-powered transmitter/receiver set (bluetooth or RF, RF has a better chance of staying in synch better, but with either you can use the delay/distance adjustments on the receiver to synch it up) then a cheap 2 channel amp. If you want a really cheap amp you can look at one like Kinter which is under $20, Fosi is more expensive but better quality. You don't need a ton of power for the rear speakers unless you want to use the DSP surround modes to have lots of audio coming out of them, as opposed to just effects.
Fosi has an amp with built in bluetooth receiver so you could get that along with a bluetooth transmitter. Would go for bluetooth 5.0 for low latency.

Most likely ordering via service desk won't work anymore.
So only option now is for people with a store showing one available (new or open box) to hurry to the store and hope to find it.
I didn't really care, I just started researching entry level home theatre setups and this one made the list. So I mainly bought it for the RX-V385 receiver, and the rest of speakers and sub were a bonus.
Also, receiver and speakers shown in picture are not propotional. Speakers are tiny.
