Dude have you read through any of the comments? With so many people still commenting that they missed the deal, it's obvious how many people don't take a little time browse through the comments to track the progress of the deal.

Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again

$220 for a Name brand 5.1 4k receiver? And speakers? And a sub? Maybe 10 years ago.

I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.

It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

TV is old so just connected devices directly to receiver instead of TV and most apps show DD or DD+. Volume control is a bit weird now showing dB instead of a volume bar. Tried the automatic setup with the microphone since idk what I'm doing. Really happy though with this as first intro to better speakers.

I've called Best Buy support a few times and they have just said they are awaiting inventory. No time frame on it.

I setup the receiver today, I only have HTIBs so far. The center channel is not producing any sound at all. When I connect the same wires and the same center channel speaker to say, front left, it works. Is the receive defective or would there be channel specific settings some where that zeroed out the center channel? any help is greatly appreciated. Not sure if BBY will take return when defective

So looks like people who have it delayed can just forget about getting delivery. The model is being discontinued apparently. They're not going to get the same models instead will get new models.

I went to the store and inquired if I would receive the item. The Customer Rep stated, the item is going to be marked as discontinued after inventory is out. He said it's set to mark the listing as inactive at the middle of this year.

Will not work to watch regular tv, center channels are used for voices. For tv it uses 2.0 stereo, in movies if streaming make sure in settings it's in 5.1. In Blu-ray's,4K movies your player automatically plays 7.1,5.1 depends on setup.

Definitely expecting Best Buy to cancel all these this week. I ordered in store two weeks ago the day of post. Still says delayed, and will auto cancel the 17th

There are stores out there that still have it in stock. If you have someone near those stores you can have them pick it up and have it shipped. I was able to do that. Ended up costing $300 with shipping.

thank you! found this after some research on the audio forums and glad I did, I packed everything to return but opened it for one final test and 5.1 does produce center channel sound. Appreciate the response
