I remember getting a BP monitor for my mother as a joke when I was in high school and look at me now, I'm gonna have two!! Getting older sucks.
UPDATE:
Just picked up the Omron 10 and have been running a few tests comparing it to the Greater Goods one I got last year.
Omron setup was easy for date and time, Omron Connect app installation and pairing, and poking around the settings I found where to give the app permissions to connect to my Samsung Health app. They make you create an account with them but whatever. I think this feature is going to be the most useful since I'll never manually enter anything from the GG one anywhere.
I like the already curved/bent sleeve which makes it easier to adjust than the non-bent Greater Goods one. With the GG one I would get annoyed with undoing the velcro and lining everything up again. The curve on the Omron fixed that.
I'll have to bring both in the car with me on my next dr visit because the Omron came in about 5-8 points lower than the GG one in back to back readings. I need to also test both connected to the AC adapters versus batteries and on a table since other variables might have messed with it for thise quick tests.
For $45 and other reviews about the quality of this unit and the Bluetooth feature, I'm glad to have jumped on this deal. Thanks Op!

Why I ultimately went with this one:
- Highly regarded for accuracy as a home unit (as anything, there might be flukes, just compare with your doc's before you start trusting it too much)
- The 10 series comes with an AC adapter, in addition to batteries. Doc told me that she's noticed these home devices can get less accurate when batteries start running low, so having an AC adapter is great to ensure long-term accuracy.
- On certain Omron units (this one included) you can turn on a feature where the meter will do three back-to-back readings automatically, up to 2 minutes apart with one single button press. It then gives you the average of the three readings. My doc, plus a friend who is a physician, loved this feature when I told them about it, because you can sit back, relax, wait your 5 minutes and done, no fiddling.
- The cuff on this 10 series one is pre-curved and is a cinch to place it on yourself correctly. Traditional floppy cuffs can be incorrectly placed far easier, leading to inaccurate results. I also learned in my research that for home units it is best to not share cuffs with others (especially of different sized arms) because supposedly the air bladder in the cuff isn't made the same as for pro units, and they get less accurate over time when being expanded to different sizes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
All-in-all, been very happy with it. Got mine for 60, but no regrets at all. Totally acts/feels like a $100+ device.
Looking at reviews of the IOS app, they aren't great and it sounds like it can no longer connect to Apple health. Does anyone have any experience using the app and opinions of it? Or does anyone use a third party app to integrate with Apple health (which I already use for heart rate and exercise tracking)?
53$ total...
Box says AC Adapter is included.
