High cholesterol (70mg) when compared to different brands of protein powder that offer more grams of protein per serving.
Out of one 39g scoop serving, you're only getting 25g of protein. 2.5g naturally occur in whey based protein. So out of one scoop you're only getting 64% protein, 6% fat, while a whooping 30% of it is maltodextrin filler.
Maltodextrin is a highly processed, cheap filler made from cheap carbs like corn/potato/wheat that's proven to spike your blood sugar.
I do not support companies like pure protein that knowingly dilute a product to boost profits at the expense of the health and wallets of their customers. I dont think you should either.

As for maltodextrin, it is essentially sugar. US labeling standards are lagging behind and manufacturers aren't required to label it as sugar. However, the maltodextrin content will be included under carbohydrates. One serving of this protein powder contains 9g of maltodextrin. This is roughly equivalent to 14g of table sugar. It's not a lot of added sugar, and it may be beneficial for athletic performance and recovery. The recommended maximum intake of added sugar is no more than 30-50g a day. While the "low sugar" labeling is misleading, this protein powder can still be a healthy option for people looking to increase their protein intake
