Stay away from this rubbish. I'll explain why:

High cholesterol (70mg) when compared to different brands of protein powder that offer more grams of protein per serving.

Out of one 39g scoop serving, you're only getting 25g of protein. 2.5g naturally occur in whey based protein. So out of one scoop you're only getting 64% protein, 6% fat, while a whooping 30% of it is maltodextrin filler.

Maltodextrin is a highly processed, cheap filler made from cheap carbs like corn/potato/wheat that's proven to spike your blood sugar.

I do not support companies like pure protein that knowingly dilute a product to boost profits at the expense of the health and wallets of their customers. I dont think you should either.

Something for someone on here to complain about that has zero clue what it is.

Understood. But this is maliciously marketed as "pure protein", and as "low sugar" but the filler used is factually proven to spike blood sugar more than table sugar which is detrimental to those sensitive to blood glucose like myself.

$ per gram of protein is what's relevant, not $ per lb. Fillers vary widely by maker.

So a rodent study testing 20x the average human consumption suggested gut microbiome (for which there is no human standard) changes so we should avoid a product that contains a tiny fraction of the FDA's Acceptable Daily Intake, which is itself set at 1/100th of the dose that provides the smallest measurable human harm?
ACE - K gives me anxiety. That's all I need to know. Sucralose too but not as much.

By what possible pharmacological mechanism could an artificial sweetener give one anxiety?

Cholesterol is crucial for building muscle. If you're just trying to make up for a deficit of protein in your diet, then maybe whey isolate is all you need, but if you're trying to gain strength and mass, you want the whole package, not just simple amino acids.

Anxiety invoked by the thought of taking something that will cause health problems. Sucralose has been linked to alzheimer's. It makes since if you know where it comes from, a byproduct of the petroleum process. I avoid as much as possible anything they come up with in the lab for artificial food. I don't trust that the FDA is not paid off by companies trying to keep their products cheap. I have strong feeling about Sucralose watching my great grandfather with diabetes deteriorate. Like others, this is anxiety.

Wow, that is literal trash filler mixed into an expensive protein product! Hard pass.

Exactly. Sucralose is chemically unstable and it "steals" an electron from somewhere in the human body during the digestion process. In small amounts it's unnoticeable, but over a lifetime it will break down various molecules in the body, including the brain. It's poison, stay away from all products containing Sucralose.

Dietary cholesterol does not necessarily increase blood cholesterol. Saturated fat (red meat, butter, coconut oil, etc) is the primary cause of high blood cholesterol. Foods high in dietary cholesterol, such as eggs, can actually lower the risk of heart disease. Protein powder with dietary cholesterol can have a positive impact on blood cholesterol levels

As for maltodextrin, it is essentially sugar. US labeling standards are lagging behind and manufacturers aren't required to label it as sugar. However, the maltodextrin content will be included under carbohydrates. One serving of this protein powder contains 9g of maltodextrin. This is roughly equivalent to 14g of table sugar. It's not a lot of added sugar, and it may be beneficial for athletic performance and recovery. The recommended maximum intake of added sugar is no more than 30-50g a day. While the "low sugar" labeling is misleading, this protein powder can still be a healthy option for people looking to increase their protein intake
