Also, the 3 tier in the OP is rated for 2500lb per shelf. That's a huuuge difference from the 1000lb capacity of the listed 5 tier.

You're looking at entirely different products. The 5-tier for this type of shelving is 90"wide, 90" tall.
A ton of differences, first off this is husky not milwaukee. Secondly the husky is taller, wider and deeper than the dewalt. It can also hold more weight too. Oh and it's red.

I bought one of these a few months back when they were the Deal of the Day for $174.30, so this is a bit of a deal from that. Great sturdy shelf and easy to put together. Might snag another one.
This is not a "slick deal" but an awesome everyday low price at Sam's. Def call in. Stores show 0 online but typically have many on hand. Not sure why it shows 0 in stock. Size it larger and def worth the fee extra bucks imo if size isn't a limitation.

I personally love the Dewalt shelves (see pic). They're extremely sturdy, have safety features to prevent slippage or accidental collapse.
1,500 pounds per shelf is a lot! I cannot imagine what you could put up there to even come to half that weight. You'd never fit an engine block in between the spaces, so that is out of the question. Tools or even 80 pound bags of concrete will not come close to the weight limit (i've had a row with quickcrete) . I also prefer the flat bottoms rather than the wired bottoms.
NOTE - to the left, along the wall, I have a Member Mark shelf from Sam's club. While it does its job, I would never feel safe climbing on it or really doing anything else to it. It is wobbly and I feel it could fail if I put too much weight on it (it probably wouldn't, but it does feel like it could). I want 2 more dewalt shelves to replace that members mark one and then I will be complete!
