20-30% more. These are $37 for a 26", that's like 400%-500% more
that's why i asked if these blade inserts are replaceable.

you can get silicone inserts on ebay super cheap, and just replace the inserts.

"Now"? these have been around for 2 decades. I used PIAA maybe 15 years ago. I found the "silicone" thing to be hype and marketing. Nothing special. Also super expensive. You are better off with well-constructed regular wipers. Bosch did impress me with their longevity. But to each their own.

The blades at Costco are Michelin [costco.com]and are available in all sizes for $3 off right now making them $6.99 ea which beats the OP Bosch price.

I have never found Michelin tires or wiper blades to "suck" in fact they are my "go to" brand.
I don't see the $3 off

Original rubber lasted me about 10 years when the blade separated from the spine, Looking forward to silicon to last the remaining life of my car (another 20-30 years). Now only if they can make tires to last longer...It is a shame to have to dispose of them only after 20k miles and 10 years...

Btw if you are replacing windshield wipers, do know that there exists silicone windshield wipers now which are superior to rubber ones in every way from longevity, low temp performance, high temp performance and durability. They cost about 20-30% more but they'll last at least 2x longer. My favorite ones right now are PIAA but other ones seem good too. An added bonus, silicone naturally leaves a hydrophobic coating as it wipes so you do get that kind of rain-x effect as well. It's not as pronounced as rain-x solution but you don't have to do anything to get it.

How is the $33 blade you listed 20-30% more than the $7 one? You do math like my wife...

This is a sale price with a more typical price of $16. The silicone wipers also go on sale as well.

That's just plainly not true, PIAA was one of the first and they introduced silicone blades in 2015.

I've had PIAA Super Silicone wipers for years, starting in Florida, where it rains just a little bit. They're a whole order of magnitude better in the rain than *any* rubber wiper in *any* fancy geometry: quieter, longer lasting, and above all more effective at improving visibility.

They can also be paired to great effect with windshield coatings. Used together, you can leave the wipers off at highway speeds. Water will bead and blow away faster than the wipers can push it away. This in turn further lengthens the wipers' lifespan.

I keep waiting for my current silicone inserts to quit or chatter or something, especially now that they see winters, but every time I wash the car they look fine and the windshield keeps beading away.

You speaking from experience? One of the questions answered states that it doesn't fit.

Man what a dump of a website. I keep selecting my vehicle to check on sizing and it keeps changing my vehicle to a 2017 Honda CRV. I don't own a CRV and I've never added that car to the website. Every time I delete it and select my car again it just reverts back to the farking CRV that I just deleted.

Edit: I just deleted my cookies and restarted the website and re-added my car as the only car. I went to products and it changed to a 2017 Honda CRV again.
If you add your car to amazon garage it'll tell you on amazon's site if fits your vehicle. You can probably also try autozone etc

No point in figuring in windshield coatings as they can be used with anything else and offer exactly the same benefits.
