I was just coming on here to post this deal. I bought mine at Best Buy today for $50. They are currently running a trade in promo along side this sale price. Trade in any old printer and they'll give you a voucher for $30 off of this model. I paid $54.xx out the door after taxes.

I have the WF-3720, the printing is fast and the scanner work well, BUT the on going battle with epson over oem and 3rd party ink was/is pretty bad and the cost of the ink for the 3720 was around 100.00 when I looked last year. Epson let 3rd parties make ink for this and then they changed their mind, pretty much making all the 3rd party ink cart useless, months later after lots of users told epson to pretty much stick it in a dark place, epson released a firmware update letting non oem ink tank work again for about 6 months or so and once again put out a firmware update only letting oem epson ink tanks work, so everyone was told don't update your firmware. If the ink tanks are cheaper for this and 3rd party can be used I might trade in or give BB my 3720 for it.

Ditto. I bought my Brother laser printer over half a decade ago and got a pair of third-party toner cartridges. Rarely do I need to print, but it's always been reliable. No clogs, no fear of running out of toner with my usage, no fuss. I wouldn't take an ink printer nowadays even if it was free, because the cost of the ink cartridges will be tremendous.

The problem is under this link the WF-3820 isn't listed. Which takes a bit of digging to get to. I had to find this link by going down to orders and purchases > Trade-In Program > (scroll to Additional Resources box) Current Promotions

If you click the trade in link for the product pages it takes you to a paragraph that includes the WF-3820. After showing the store people the website they just give you the run around by saying that is a website issue and you need to contact customer cares. Contacting customer cares, they just say to go back to the store....Typical run around.

Firmware downgrade via USB cable, PC and Youtube fixed mine. I hate wasting new 3rd party I bought for it so I did the downgrade and now my printer takes 3rd party ink again. Do not upgrade firmware ever after that.

This is where I got the drivers. I don't know if it contains any risk but I scanned my downloaded file and it was cleared so I used it. Use it at your own risk. Just trying to help and end your headache like I had.
