Wireless can go as high as technology allows. The G Pro Wireless sensor is currently at 25K.

The difference is a lot more noticeable with faster or finer tasks, like gaming or airbrushing. If all you're doing is Excel spreadsheets it might not make a huge difference.
Thank you! I'm looking for a wireless "office" mouse, so not interested on this deal. But I knew I'd learn something here!

Logitech's wireless technology is solid and should have relatively low lag. The real difference is that the G203 goes up to 8000 dpi whereas your standard office mouse is capped at 1000.
Are you saying that buying a G203 will make me be more productive at work?

DPI doesn't matter for gaming (not sure about other apps), past 3200 it's not realistic and your cursor will zoom past the screen. DPI (dots per inch) simply means that for every inch it moves further on the screen.

The vast majority of people can't and will not use 8000 DPI, never mind 12K or even 25K on the top-end mice. Typically the default is set to about 1000, often more or less depending on your preference.

The real draw to gaming mice like Logitech's G203 or G305 is the sensor which tracks much more accurately than the standard office mouse.

G203 is a homeless edition of Logitech G PRO Hero Wired. G203 is for the homeless.

G203 is enough for $10. G PRO Hero Wired and G203 are completely different. G305 is a wireless version of G PRO Hero Wired.

I have this mouse and it's awesome. And I gotta say I tried a G305 wireless for a while and this mouse is more sensitive and better precision than that but it should be since it's not wireless. Some games I play you need absolute perfect timing and I was shocked how noticeable the off timing ms the 305 was but the old 203 continues strong
More sensitive and better precision than G305?Are you kidding me?LMAOLMAOLMAO I think you had a Chinese fake G305. Take picture for a bottom of your G305. Let's see it's genuine or not.

It's funny how this has been posted for $20 various times in the past, but never hit FP. This comes on "sale" for $20 all the time. It's still a good budget gaming mouse. I got the white one for $10 at Walmart a while back ago and I'd be fine paying $20 for it. This is the only gaming mouse I've owned, so I can't compare it to others, but it's a big improvement over my other Logitech mice for gaming. I think I would want something a little bigger as I have big hands, but other than that it's been great.

wow, GS first took away to buy the $10 ps cards with the Pro montly, now when I apply it to this, they take away the clearance discount and only apply the $5. That's some BS. Can't wait to cancel my pro membership. GS is such trash changing terms and conditions like this.

I have one of these. Yes, it's wired. Yes, it doesn't require batteries or have the lag that wireless mice do. The buttons are incredibly sensitive. I have to be careful resting my fingers on the buttons. And yes, it's a full-sized mouse. Unless you have Wreck It Ralph hands, you'll be fine. I got mine at Wal*Mart.
