    Yes it can. A review I watched on youtube showed that it's fast enough at switching to avoid powering down a laptop with no battery. The same can't be said for the River 2 Max for some odd reason.

    Interesting, what did you have plugged into it? I won't be getting mine until next week but I feel like the fan shouldn't be that loud unless you are either charging it at full speed or drawing close to the max supported wattage. Also do you have the latest firmware installed?

    I got mine last week. Pretty much makes this loud noise when charging. I haven't used it so much to hear it when it's being fully loaded

    I agree on the loud fan when charging (I also got mine last week). It seems to be the result of a cheap computer fan in back. Also of note, I have been testing it out…not sure I buy into the amount of charges you get out of this. It took ~15% to charge an iPhone from 20% to 100%. It took about 45% to charge a laptop from 0-100%. I'm debating sending it back due to that vs the fan. Anyone else verify the amount of charges this deliveries? Do I just have unreasonable expectations?
