While this price might be attractive, I highly recommend learning more about the reliability of NordicTrack and Pro Form products. Spoiler alert: it's bad.

Valid point about quality. But to add to this at this price point, Sams does offer a protection plan for 3 years worth 39.99. This falls under Electronics. From past experiences the process of claims was very convenient.

Nautilus t618... am 6'1 and 260 lbs... bought recently when it was 699. It holds me good when I run at 6 mph.

The warranty is an absolute must, but I promise you that you will spend a long time waiting for service and parts. I just donated my NordicTrack to the landfill/recycling center after eight years of ownership, and it probably worked roughly 25% of the time I owned it.

I recommend following NordicTrack and Pro Form on social media like Facebook and read the comments.

Do you have to connect it? Can you disable updates?

I have a NordicTrack with iFit (same thing proform uses). You can unplug it after every use and tell in not to update when the alert pops up. That is if you want to use the iFit interface, otherwise never connect it to the internet and only use the manual adjustments.

I have had the pro-form 720s for 5 years put over 2000 miles on it. I had to replace the board one time and customer service was great! I would trust the people that actually own these products

Yeah I've had my NT for 3 years. Last update bricked my console. They are replacing but it has been 6 weeks. But LOL at 220 dollars shipping.

I have a proform we got from Dicks about 13 years ago and still running strong. Have two people use it in our family daily and its doing fine still.

I use this treadmill during the winter months when I can't run outside. I've had it for 3 years and run anywhere from 20-50 miles a week during winter. ZERO problems so far. I got it around this price too. At this point, I've gotten my money's worth. Don't have much to comment on the ifit and updates - as I don't use those. But I look for a treadmill that doesn't make a lot of noise to wake up the house - it's a treadmill, it will make some noise but the wife doesn't complain haha, doesn't give me injuries from poor quality materials, and holds up with regular maintenance. This treadmill does just that. I weigh 170 pounds just for reference.
