Same active ingredients you can get in one or two products of generics at Dollar Tree for more than six doses at a lower price.

Not a great deal IMO unless you absolutely need the portability of medicine in powder form or have a very touchy gag reflex.

This is good stuff if you do not want to use your brain. For those of us that enjoy thinking, we can take just the medications that we actually need. If I am sick I think it would be better to cough when my body wants to cough.

This has guaifenesin, the active ingredient in Mucinex, which will help you cough and make it more productive. My last experience with the flu gave me a point I really needed relief from coughing, as I was coughing so hard and for so long that I was developing a stitch in my side; it was very pretty painful at 4am when I was still trying to sleep.

As another has mentioned, cheaper and a better value to get the individual ingredients. Additionally, anecdotal, this stuff tastes like death.

Edit: correcting auto correct, and also this Theraflu doesn't have guaifenesin, actually, but sometimes people need a suppressant.

Not sure how the ingredients compare, but I think Dollar General typically has their brand of similar stuff for maybe $4 or $5 something. Also, if you happen to spend $25+ on Saturday, you might be eligible to use their $5 off $25 coupon - if it is active for that particular weekend (it isn't every weekend, but seems to happen often enough)

I don't even have the flu - I've just had a cough since December that isn't going away. I had one day in particular where I was coughing so hard that I feel like I bruised my ribs. A month later, and my ribs STILL hurt, and I'm still coughing.

Yep, some nights you just want it to stop, and get some uninterrupted sleep!

Plus, regarding the "use your brains" comment from a different user: When you're so sick you can't sleep - it really is hard to just "use your brain" and you'll buy whatever you can for some relief. I'm jealous of anyone who has never been so sick they can't think straight.
