I returned my Jakemy screwdriver kit from the last deal because the kit I received was obviously a customer return. The seal was slit open and it looked like the previous purchaser tried several of the thinnest bits because they were all either bent, broken or stripped. That was a smaller kit from the same company Jakemy. No idea if this kit is made w a stronger alloy.

What's the crowbars made of?
Metal, or plastic?

Similar-ish but two of the Lidl's near me (Raleigh NC area) have this kit for $3.99 currently, reg price $7.99. Seems fine for light use to medium use.

i don't know what the material. the set i use has them and good for laptop repair when cracking open the back to work inside, leaves less marring/gouging when prying open. probably other uses, wish these sets came with instructions for the odd ball tools inside.

Can't find an English Youtube review that isn't paid promotion. Lot of guerallia marketing going on with this company. I think the move is either paying half as much for a really basic set or paying a lot more for a set from a reputable company. As is I think this set is really in a middle ground that doesn't work the best for anyone.

I don't know for sure. But they are typically plastic, so you don't mar the things you are trying to pry. I don't think I've ever seen metal ones in such kits

Perhaps I have should have added the suffix of "ish" to the end of "similar" to let it be known the two were not the same however someone comparable. Oh wait that is exactly what I said. Also the Lidl kit is less than 1/4 of the price for 1/4 of the bits. Pretty logical and scales fairly. Lastly, the Lidl kit contains 98% of the bits most people will ever see / need so it probably will work for a majority of people. But I do agree the JAKEMY kit is much more complete, if that is what you need, go ahead and spend 400% more. I was suggesting a possible alternative for a significate cost savings being a majority of the JAKEMY's contents are very very very atypical bits few humans will never need.

Sorry for trying to be helpful...

Plastic but they seem pretty decent quaility (rigid). You wouldn't want metal crowbars as they could scatch/mar the surface when you're using them. There's a use video posted on Amazon of a individual using the piano pics and crowbar to open up a watch to replace its battery.

Where can I purchase this kit? I don't believe it's posted on Amazon (at least it didn't come up when I searched for it)?

I have seen them at two different Lidl's. Depending on where you live Lidl might not be an option for you as I think they are only on the east coast.

Interesting... I also didn't see the Parkside Toolkit available on their website. I do have a Lidl store nearby me.

Perhaps stock left over from a prior week? Two Raleigh NC area locations have them on the shelf, could also be regional as well.
