you can buy a pixel 6a for $300 with an OLED screen and 3 years of updates and one of the best cameras on the market..You have the option of this with an inferior screen, much worse camera and 1 update... all for more memory? Get the pixel 6a instead.

The boost mobile Motorola Edge plus is a much better deal for $240 or less. $3 unlock on eBay. OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 gen 1 CPU, 8G of ram, 512GB of storage.

I had this phone for a couple of months and gave it away as a present. Big Moto fan here, but this phone simply isn't worth $250 (even with 256gb) more like $150-190$ right now. It works well don't get me wrong. It's well packaged as a product, but I couldn't live with it's drawbacks. First of all, it's really big n' bulky - I think ~230gr without the cover and 10W charging speed is atrociously slow for today's standards. Especially for the mid-class phone that Moto wants this to be. It has really bad bottom firing speaker. As for the good sides, I liked the screen and the camera was decent enough. Looks pretty esp in that dark blue color. Decent battery life. I never noticed issues with the cpu or ram. MicroSD slot is available. The pen does come in handy and Moto's software is good enough. Had it for 150$ last year in September on GoogleFi (6/128gb version).

Just picked up used like new on Amazon for $220! Arrives Tuesday

The specs are fantastic on this phone. 8gb ram, 256gb internal. 256gb SD card included. Midband 5g channels.

I got this exact phone, plus a year of TracFone service for $50 from HSN. I suggest waiting for them to have a sale again, they've had 3 with the same phone and similar deals.

The two things that bug me about Moto Phones recently.

720p screens. This is 1080p. Nice
Mono speaker. They used to be stereo. This is mono.

Why have a huge, decent screen with a junk mono speaker? When it was stereo a few years ago?

Literally. If they just put decent speakers, 25W charging and slimmed it down a bit it would be the bust budget phone hands-down. I don't think Motorola (Lenovo) cares. They spam the market with bunch of faceless models in different categories hoping to sell the quantity not the quality. The worst part is that they're always so close on having the best value phone on the market and they never make the push for it.

I don't think Tracfone ever had this Moto on sale? You probably got the last year 4G Stulys (with smaller squared camera?) I could be wrong tho.

I'd rather have a phone that doesn't lag in everyday use. 6GB is enough for Android and you can always get a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter.
