You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Adding another data point from the Northwest side of Austin, TX
I had made an appointment over the weekend for lunchtime today (3/20). The offer pulled on the Chase bank rep's computer screen. I confirmed the offer details & my details. A few short electronic signatures and I was instantly approved. The entire process took about 15 minutes.
I specifically asked about waiving the annual fee but was told the Chase bank rep said they haven't seen that as an option in over a year -- usually they are able to do it if it's option built into the offer, but this wasn't. Nothing that I didn't expected. $95 annual fee for 90K points.. I'll take that any day of the week.
I had the Chase rep rush the card to me so that I can start charging stuff to it right away.

I got the annual fee waived, I think? Visited a nearby chase branch and was offered this deal without asking for it. Got the exact deal with the points and all. And wasn't charged the annual fee. If I get charged later on, will update the post. Make sure to get rush shipping to get card in 1-2 biz days.
Chase sapphire reserve does not have this offer, it was still at 60k bonus points and rep said they cant offer the "preferred" bonus for "reserve"
You definitely didn't get the annual fee waived. You'll see this charge on your first statement guaranteed.
i got CSP in 2021 and cancelled in July-2022, am i eligible for this bonus ?
Will they let me know while applying or if applied then decline bonus after 4k requirement citing this 48 month rule ?

If you opened the CSP in 2021 then there's no way you'd be under the 48 month restriction. There's no point in trying.
I was wondering the same thing. Hopefully it will be bumped in 4 months - when I'm eligible.
Doubt it. Their SUBs are so so in the past few yrs. But never brought that 100k one time when they first introduced the card. It's as if they don't want people to apply for it.. but I understand the appeal for it for some. I had the CSP and now the CSR. May have to downgrade back to CSP come renewal time.
But my favorite card as of recent and almost my everyday card is the US Bank Altitude Reserve because of their Apple Pay earning category (technically 4.5% value if redeemed for Travel).
If you want to cancel the CSP after receive sign up bonus, and you got other Chase card already, you do not need to downgrade CSP , call the number on the back and ask Chase rep to allocate all your credit line to the existing card you have. in this case, cancel the CSP pretty much has Zero impact on your FICO.
How about having chase sapphire as "authorized user" instead of primary card ? Does it count towards only "1 sapphire card" at a time rule ?
Sd'ers please provide your inputs
You can get a much better deal at my bank — the Silicon Valley Bank.
If you have insurance there, it's unlimited reimbursement for losses no matter the policy limits! Wish my auto, home, business and other insurance was so damn generous.
I wish this card included precheck/global entry. I'm due this year, so need a new card. Don't really want to spring for CSR to get, but would like to stay with the UR points, rather than start up with CapOne Ventures
Get the Venture for global and precheck. They are paying you to have that card honestly

But a question for anyone familiar with this: can you stack a referral bonus on top of this bonus?
All time high was 120k! During covid
