However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.
If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.
For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

I do have an old self owned modem laying around somewhere still. I guess if they cancel my service early I can always activate the old modem on my wife's account until her new Xfi Complete modem arrives.
When you search your address on Xfinity it will say there's already service at this address. Click I'm moving here as a new customer.

That is what makes this such a great deal. Most people used to get the expensive Gigabit plan just to get fast upload speeds (35 Mbps). Anything above 100 or 200 Mbps download should be fine for 99.9% of users.
When I go to the order page for this plan it shows me "Upload speeds as fast as 100 Mpbs" next to xFi Complete.

I haven't been able to get the upload speed even though Comcast says it should work. So that's another story...
I could call customer service and cut a deal. Get a discount by prepaying the entire amount.
eg... $25 x $24 = $600. They would knock off $50~$100 or give me a free extra months.
Nowadays, they have no idea of the concept !!
