However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.
If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.
For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

Update: Because I see this deal has reached FP, I noticed the FP bulletpoint stated this offer was for unlimited data. This is not entirely accurate for all situations at the current price point. I've notified a moderator to see if they can get that fixed. But for now, I'll update my post about this.
Does anyone know when will the old service gets cancelled if I apply a new connection at same address? I dont want to be without internet just in case xfinity cancels the old service as soon as I apply for a new one at same place.

Asked rep to cancel account and give me the deal, was told yes.
Was on the phone for over half an hour as she took care of almost everything.
They really wanted me to be home during the process, to give my mac address/cycle my modem, but I was at work. Service is due to terminate tonight according to the email I received (despite being told by CSR that it would terminate immediately), so I'll power cycle the modem when I wake up tomorrow.
Data cap here in Chicago, 1.2TB/mo. No contract, 24 months at $25. Was on a $50/mo deal ($32 discount). Saving $600 for the next 2 years. ATT Fiber was just installed in my neighborhood, but the price/speeds are still higher than Comcast.
