Not the lowest price ever, but this model has been very difficult to find when it's been put on sale. It's normally $1499.99.

are you talking about the x90k? the U*H is better from what i can see on the reviews and even better than TCL 6 series
You have to turn down the backlight when watching SDR content…to like 60-65. You can leave the backlight at 100 for HDR picture modes but not SDR modes.

Under your picture settings, change the mode from "All Sources" to "Current Source" & then change the backlight setting for SDR picture modes like Sports, etc.
Why would anyone get a C3? The only real improvement is the G3

Your Sony you bought isn't New at 1050 and I personally would never risk buying a refurb or used OLED. That's just crazy.
It had 4 hours of screen time when I got it. Virtually new. I saved nearly $800 over retail. And I still have an 3 year extended warranty for peace of mind. I really don't understand the hysteria over refurbished.

Lol. Ok. Never ever would I personally on OLED or any High End TV. There is a reason it was returned and good luck with Sony helping.
