I picked up this one [amazon.com] for $15 a year or so ago. It holds my 17" MSI Gaming/Creator laptop doesn't wobble while using the laptop keyboard/track pad.

I don't do much in terms of exercising on my desk, so wobbling was not an issue.
It is not flimsy, and does not break. You can actually bend it to your liking.
My issue was the fixed height - what you see is what you get, there is no height adjustment unless you put it on a book or something. For my purposes, to use the laptop screen as a secondary monitor, it was just a bit to low.
So I went with the adjustable (from the same company/same money/recent deal) and that fixes the height issue. However, the bottom plate looks really cheap, should have gotten a darker/black version. I'll probably just cover it up with some dark mat/material.
Thought about this one, then looked at the reviews. Ended up with two of these and the are SOLID. It comes in three pieces but goes together really tight, plus two work laptops are at my center monitor height.
