For folks asking about the 12 months of service part, all of that is answered in the original thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/16487416-mint-mobile-128gb-google-pixel-7-unlocked-smartphone-12-month-4gb-plan-289-recovery-fee-port-in-required-free-s-h?page=76#commentsHeader

tldr: Needs to be a ported in number. GV works (create a new gmail account, pay google $3 to port out). People who dont care about the 12 months mint service can just discard the activation kit and treat this as a $289 unlocked phone.

Oh - I see it as a non-factor. Most are getting the deal (seemingly) for the good price on the phone. I don't even want the plan shipped with it, was able to flip it for $50 bucks.

If I'm already a customer, could I port my number out and then just port it back in next week? or is there some period of time you need to wait before being eligible?

So for $300 you're getting a brand new phone and 6 month service? Is there a catch? Asking because I paid full price for one of these just a few months ago.
Yes $300 for phone and 12 months plan

Can anyone confirm Pixel 7 works on Total Wireless? Ive read of issues supposedly fixed by a December update (or Android 13 beta) but confirmation would be nice.

But how do you actually get these 6 months if you don't port it? You already have a sim after all.
I don't think there's any trick or way to get the extra 6 months without porting in. I could be wrong though.

Another SD'er pointed out to me that the extra 6 months is free only if you port in your number. If you don't, it's just 6 months.
Yeah this. Honestly this is all described in the original thread but that thread is kinda too long to read now. I tried to make it a little more clear in this thread's desc but mods reformatted it when they made it a FP post.

I bought the 10GB/12mo plan (including 6mo free when you switch) but wish I had ordered Ulimited/12mo.

The price diff that I would have to pay more if I get Unlimited in the beginning was $60, but it looks like I'll have to pay $120 to move from 10GB to Unlimited after activation.

Is there any way I can pay just $60 and get Unlimited for 12mo?

I have yet to activate.
I had the same situation. I bought with 10gb, returned 4gb set.

Thanks, someone pointed out it's 6 months free, and if you port in, and additional 6 months.

Also congrats on the Oscar!

Whoops! I saw this after I used PayPal. When did you find out it failed? I've received a "receipt" from Paypal. Then I received a "Just Double Checking -- we're reviewing your order" message from Mint. About 30 minutes later I got another message from Mint: "Your order? Confirmed" and showing what they're shipping (phone, sim kit, trial sim). Does that mean it's gone through?
Two weeks ago I ordered it first thing I saw the deal that morning. Made two orders for my mom and I, and got the "Just double Checking" email afterwards. Then 4 hours later I got an email from Paypal and Mint saying I am being refunded. Mint email didn't explain why I got refunded. Then I called customer support, and to see why my order got cancelled. They don't know what happened and told me that I am getting a refund and to just reorder.

I ordered it again with paypal later that evening and double checked my shipping and billing address. Got the "Just double Checking" email again. Then in the morning I got the same email from Paypal and Mint saying I am getting refunded again. I got fed up and decided to now try paying for it without paypal and by then the deal was out of stock in the morning.

So this is my new attempt to try to see if it will go through without Paypal. I never got a fraud alert from my Citibank and from reading the past comments in the previous post I am not the only one who had this issue as well. Some ppl even had a different shipping address and billing address that paid with paypal and their orders went through. Confused

Great deal. Just wish they'd offer a similar deal for the 256gb model. I'd gladly pay another $100 for an additional 128gb.

Based on the last 2-3 deals of this, no. They told people to return it and rebuy Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Yeah that one is clear. But I'm wondering how you would get 6 months at all if you already have a Mint number. It's not like you can take the new sim card and put it into your phone. How would you go about adding these 6 months to your already existing Mint account?
