For folks asking about the 12 months of service part, all of that is answered in the original thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/16487416-mint-mobile-128gb-google-pixel-7-unlocked-smartphone-12-month-4gb-plan-289-recovery-fee-port-in-required-free-s-h?page=76#commentsHeader

tldr: Needs to be a ported in number. GV works (create a new gmail account, pay google $3 to port out). People who dont care about the 12 months mint service can just discard the activation kit and treat this as a $289 unlocked phone.

Oh - I see it as a non-factor. Most are getting the deal (seemingly) for the good price on the phone. I don't even want the plan shipped with it, was able to flip it for $50 bucks.

When I activated back in March 1st, if I remember correctly, it only said you can call to ORDER ANOTHER plan that don't require port-in. It doesn't say you can activate this bundled plan with new phone number.
So when did you activate your plan that got that message? And have you "actually" call in to confirm that is the case?

If you read the previous Pixel 7 thread, no one mentioned they were able to get new phone number.

And did you actually tried it and get a new phone number and 6 months plan? I don't think ANYONE confirmed that in the previous thread.
And as we know, any time you call customer service, you may get random answer and they are more likely to mess up your plan especially if it is not program to do so during the activation steps online.

Got the deal, thanks OP! So happy. Does anyone know how long it takes to have it delivered to NY state?

Ok, so looks like they may have changed the footnote in their port-in screen again.

But that will require someone to call in to do that assuming they didn't change the activation screen again.

Or get a Google Voice phone number with added benefit of getting full 12 months. Then pay $3 to "unlock" that Google Voice phone number for porting over to Mint. Only take few minutes to do to get that phone number and unlock it for porting. Probably take more time to call them than to get a Google Voice number.

It's a great phone and a great deal, just got mine from the last time

Heads up though Mint Mobile is being acquired by T-Mobile so there is uncertainty going forward about price and service

On the last deal mine didn't ship for 4 days. Then it shipped from Costa Mesa, CA which is a couple hours away. Not sure if they all ship out from there.

Question. Can I use my regular power adapter from Moto G power or it must be some specific one? Looks like it's not included with the phone

In for 1. With fee and tax approx $323.

Question 1: after you port in Google voice to activate 12 month (6+6) plan, can you then change that new Google voice number back to your old number, while keeping the 12 month plan?

Question 2: can you port your current number to Google voice? I'd like to keep my current number as well.

you can use any usb c adapter, they dont ship it with a charging brick but they do sent a cord that is usb c to usb c, i dont have a charger block that has a usb c plugin so im using my old normal usb to usb c cord, might be a bit slower but it works.

Might as well grab it before the Tmobile sale, cause these deals will cease.

Yeah. Most people are asking $90 or more for the plans. I figured a win is a win, and flipping something I wasn't going to use anyways for $50 bucks is a win.
Can the esim be used by anyone?

Quick google and found someone post that said...
The FCC mandates the account MUST be closed when porting out and is the same for Post-Paid and Pre-Paid.

https://www.fcc.gov/general/wirel...ility-wlnp

Since you can't retain your old plan if you port-out so you can't retain your old phone number if you replace it with another one. Sounds like you may not want to do what your questions are asking. Not to mention in previous thread, they said you can't port-in a number that was with Mint Mobile recently(?)
