For folks asking about the 12 months of service part, all of that is answered in the original thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/16487416-mint-mobile-128gb-google-pixel-7-unlocked-smartphone-12-month-4gb-plan-289-recovery-fee-port-in-required-free-s-h?page=76#commentsHeader

tldr: Needs to be a ported in number. GV works (create a new gmail account, pay google $3 to port out). People who dont care about the 12 months mint service can just discard the activation kit and treat this as a $289 unlocked phone.

Oh - I see it as a non-factor. Most are getting the deal (seemingly) for the good price on the phone. I don't even want the plan shipped with it, was able to flip it for $50 bucks.

I ordered the 4GB plan, but I don't think 4GB will be enough. Will it be too much grief to order the 10GB plan and just pay the difference during the activation process?
You will need to activate the 4G plan first then pay the difference to upgrade, unfortunately I believe you have to pay the difference for the full 12 months not just 6.

Can I roll with the 4GB plan for a couple of months, then upgrade to the 10GB plan, or do I have to get the 10GB plan immediately after activation?

You can upgrade anytime by paying the prorated difference for the rest of the term. You can only downgrade at renewal.

You might have some chance of getting support to let you upgrade the 12 months for the 6 month price if you do it right at the beginning but usually it is a no go.

Yes you can sell the phone right away.

You have 45 days to activate the SIM in any phone, as long as you port from another carrier (including google voice). Use referral program to get an extra $15 renewal credit.
Can I use the referral program during the activation process to get the $15 credit? Thanks

I have a question for the folks that received this bundle last week. My brother ordered the bundle for me (he lives in Georgia, I live in Oklahoma). My order kept getting cancelled by mint and I called them and they said they couldn't verify my address (it's a new building that I moved into 12/2022). How big/small is the package you received from mint? I'm going to ask my brother to forward the phone to me but am curious if it's an amazon-style 12-inch x 12-inch box or if it's packed smaller etc? Might be worthwhile for him to open and repackage it in a bubble mailer at USPS to reduce shipping costs.

Well I ordered this.... according to my chat with Mint they do not back charge for the phone if the service doesn't get activated.... the service expires in 45 days if you never activate the sim.

My bank has been charged and is no longer pending but I have not received notification of shipment yet.... only the e-mail saying 'we are double checking everything and will send you another e-mail soon'

I've received the order confirmed email, one order has a different shipping and billing address and the other order has the same address.

Seems, both trigger's orders are confirmed.
Do you think, these orders will ship the phone?

I have a phone # from long time ago now tied to an iPad service in my AT&T family plan. They told me i could no longer use that number as a phone service when I requested it to be converted to a phone line at one time. I wonder if I could use this to port-in somehow and what that will do to the iPad cellular.

Why do you want the old number to port in? Simply throw away it and you can use the google voice number and pay 3$ to get unlock from google and use that number to port into Mint mobile. Then, you can use it wherever you want
