Yes they do. They say you have a month but they'll price match a sale even if you go over a little.
Chromecast with Google tv plugged into the "strmbox" port loses 4k after a couple days. To get it back to 4k I have to go into the receivers port settings for strmbox and change it from 4k enhanced to 4k standard. Then I can change Chromecast to 4K30, and when I change it to advanced again I can select 4K60.
The second unit I got is able to do 4k, but only when I use the best cables. And it still won't do 4k with my (older) Roku. All these devices do 4k just fine if I plug them directly into my display (4k projector).
It's also doing some sort of processing on the video signal instead of unadulterated pass-thru. On certain images, I get banding. Again, there's no banding if I plug the devices straight into the display. From the research I've done, this was also a problem on older Onkyo AV receivers. Except those had a secret hidden menu option to disable video processing. This one doesn't have a secret hidden menu, at least not one that anyone's found so far.
Anyway, it works well enough most of the time that I kept it. It's the cheapest well-featured 4k AV receiver I've found with two HDMI outputs. HDMI 2.1a was only finalized a year ago. So I figure I'll just upgrade in 5-7 years once all this 4k stuff is rock solid the way 1080p is now.

Latest tech 7.2 with atmos. Nothing else came closer. When I got, it was with the extended warranty.
Enjoyed 5.2 sub while it worked.
Why returned
1. Random hdmi hiccup. I had to switch on/off. But it happened once in a while, not frequent
2. B&W M1 and Rsl sub and 14 guage wires. The speaker output was good initially but after sometime it crapped out and sounded low. I had to recalibrate but always made it to desire more on sound
3. The setup screen goes blank sometimes. Only way is off and on.
4. When I change any value (distance, decibels) from system calibrated (even slightest change), the sound crapout and I had to recalibrate again.
May be I got a dud. But since I decided I dont want to do 2 atmos speakers, I picked a old yamaha and called it for living room. Will save and get a 9.2.2 Marantaz or Yamaha for the HT later. Not sure I could get a 11.2.2 for lessthan 1k mark.
But from most reviews and online reading this sounded like the best avr for the price. The unit I got didnt work, and I dont want to deal with warranty things at this time, so returned.
I tried to connect Bluetooth headphones and it was always disconnecting.

So now I don't know what to do. Seems like these discounted AVs from costco are mostly crap. We get what we pay for???
Onkyo has this function, it is just a different name.
Do a search for an adapter on eBay. I.e. Bose Surround Lifestyle Jewel Cube Speaker AC-2 Bare Wire Adapter Connector. Not sure if that's the same speakers you are talking about.
