Fuchsia is a vivid pinkish-purplish-red color, named after the color of the flower of the fuchsia plant, which was named by a French botanist, Charles Plumier, after the 16th-century German botanist Leonhart Fuchs.

I'd like to get a "self de-tangling" motorized brush replacement for my DC65. Anyone know if such a thing exists? Perhaps compatibility with another model that has one?

Looks like the promo is back on Dyson website. I just ordered but I don't see the option to select my free tool.

Oops: didn't realize the price is lower on walmart and ebay. Cancelling Dyson order.

Purchased last summer from Walmart. The hose no where near this long. Super-strong deep cleaning suction. Minimal attachments. Like. Haven't seen it on sale myself for less than $175.
Is this vacuum heavy?

Keep in mind the ball design is somewhat of a hindrance/gimmick given how big the actual ball is, it's actually an obstacle when getting under and around things sometimes that a normal vac doesn't have.

I bought this and returned. The attachment piece is a pain to remove and put back on and annoyed me enough that I decided to bring it back. I use the attachments often and it felt like this spot would end up breaking pretty quickly.

I purchased Dyson Ball Animal 2 Upright Vacuum (refurbished) last month from Walmart.com and really impressed with it's performance. I don't know much about this vacuum, Animal 2 is definitely expensive than this one. It cleans hard floor really well that I've never seen with other vacuums.

How well does it work on hardwood?
You have to turn the roller off and it worked well on my hardwood floors. It you don't turn the roller off, it will scratch the wood

I just called their support line and was told that the model was not eligible for the $75 free attachment. Even after I had them go to the website and click on the promotion link, was still given multiple reasons (the $100 discount nullified it/I was supposed to select it on checkout/the 2 included attachments are the "promotions"). End of the day, price and vacuum are good, the checkout process/customer service = thumbs down.

You know- I just gotta say this about Dyson:

I bought this vacuum some time back, and it did a good job of cleaning, but the materials they used in the construction are atrocious- the plastic is about the same quality as those eggs they put toys in at those .25 grocery story vending machines.

A few months back, someone was offering a free Dyson Cinetic Big Ball on Facebook Marketplace- they said the rollers stopped working and it turns out you could just buy a new roller head for $70.

I picked it up, ordered the part, and it worked perfectly. This is a $800 vacuum....AND IT HAS THE EXACT SAME BUILD QUALITY.

On both models, the plastic creaks, the latches feel like they'll snap if you push/pull too hard, there's a handle above the dust bin, but if you lift the vacuum with that handle everything comes apart.

After these things break, I think I'm going back to Shark. Can't believe Dyson sells these products built with those materials. It's embarrassing!
