These are great for this price. Only real cons are the audio delay with BT 4 is long so there's a lip sync delay if you're trying to use this with video, and if you are using a pair of these in TWS mode, the guitar and microphone inputs will only work on the speaker where they are plugged in. You can work around these with the wired connections. As a bluetooth audio speaker they are just great. I have a pair of these and love them.

Just FYI - the PartyBox 100 can definitely withstand some water. Ours got completely soaked on a boat a few years back, kept playing (while sitting in standing water) -- turned it off, dried it out, and still works like new to this day. Again, it's not rated for water (and you should avoid water as much as possible), but a little poolside splash or rain sprinkles shouldn't do anything to hurt it.

These things sound great out of the box (which is fortunate since there is no app for 100 model) and highly doubt anyone who wants a big, loud, wireless outdoor speaker will regret buying one of these (or two if you want to run in stereo) at $200.

This sheet doesn't have the Samsung on it, but may be a good resource for those who want to see some reviews / technical feedback as well as how these rate against others: https://docs.google.com/document/...z17Gg/edit

I had an alert set for this but now I'm considerign the Samsung version that seems to go on sale for almost half the cost. I wonder if there are any good reviews of the two side by side.

What is the Samsung model number? I can't seem to find an equivalent speaker for $99 from Samsung.

MX-ST40B. Here was the last deal that I regret passing on for $120. Will keep an eye out for another one: https://slickdeals.net/f/16429789-160w-samsung-sound-tower-bluetooth-speaker-mx-st40b-119-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch

It's unfortunate that it doesn't have mic input but I like that it's weather resistant. If I bought this PartyBox I'd be afraid of accidently leaving it outside overnight and have it get rained on.

I got this one at the last sale. It's great. Lightweight and sounds good enough for activities out in the yard with kids.

I bought this on the last posting on here. After doing some research first this speaker got a lot of raves on YouTube and won a lot of speaker comparisons. I love this speaker and 100% happy it.

Bought one of these on black Friday at basically the same price. Great speaker! Didn't realize how big it is but man it sounds great.

Ugh my Aiwa Exos-9 crapped out last month after like 5 years of nonstop use. It sounded amazing inside, but outside I feel like my friend's party speaker (not sure what it was) sounded way louder/better. Wonder if I should just get some good bookshelf speakers for inside and then this for outdoor/travel use only.
