All that for a 600$ watch? I mean 600$ is not chump change but for Swiss luxury watches, that is very on the low end spectrum of what Swiss/ high end watches command.

These HAQ's I think are already discontinued. Awfully overpriced when Citizen can do it better and for these Lognines you need to use your phone and have it send blinking codes to an aperature in the Longines watch. Plus its only 5m water resistant.

You're better off putting that money to the Hydroconquest or Conquest Automatics or even their normal quartz movements for less and you get more out of it and water resistance.

Try them in person though, these models tend to have the crown stick out enough that it hurts the top of your hand. aka 'crown bite"

You might be right about them being discontinued, but it is 50m of WR, and the phone thing is just the gmt.

Yes. A $600 watch is equivalent to a car over $100K. It is needless. It is a luxury. If someone wants that luxury, I have no complaint.

For example, to me music is a luxury, and I have spent uncountable dollars over the decades buying my records and CDs. I can get music free other ways, but each time, I decided to pay for my own copy.

I think my original point was that this was a luxury item, and "going on sale" is not the best point. If you saw an offer for a Gulfstream 5 for 25% off, would that be a slick deal? Or would you put it in the crap folder? Because nobody here is buying a Gulfstream.
