Bought this in 2020 it is loud even without load. It is reliable and starts up with 1-2 pulls everytime.

Unfortunately for most inverters even of this size, they do not have 240V.

You have to go up to 6250/5000 watt units for 240V.

I think they have an electric start version but it's a lot more expensive. 67dB isn't that loud for an open frame. Several dB lower than a traditional generator.

I think that website factors in the capacity to noise ratio. It's noisy for a lower capacity generator, wouldn't be considered noisy if it delivered double the capacity.

Also note this quote from an owner in this thread

Would think this would get a little more upvotes. $380 for an open frame inverter. I know its basic but I have had the better new models with more fancy options. Seems like the more options a generator has the more that can go wrong.

Every review says " starts on 2nd pull" / "a little loud" or "not too loud"

Very similar to the Generac 7128 GP3500iO 3,500-Watt open frame inverter. Was 433 plus tax on amazon. Now $680 plus tax on Amazon.

Not much more bang for the buck out there. If your going from an non inverter to this you'll be fine. Maybe going from a full enclosed inverter to this open frame inverter you will complain about the noise.
