Very rare to see these shoes for <$180 and especially with all of the popular sizes still available. Are they clearing inventory before the %3s come out? In any case, great shoe to stock up on at this price.

Just like the speed suits in swimming, this shoe is packed with a lot of technical breakthroughs that has been considered a game changer in the industry. The NY Times did a pretty good article that shows you statistically, there is a big difference. It was so revolutionary that for a while, you would see pros not sponsored by Nike wearing them (with the branding hidden). Read the article below (or numerous ones out there) and then tell me if this is just for "looking cool".

Understood. That said, we're entering a deflationary recession. These will get cheaper, as will everything else. If someone needs them today, then ok. Otherwise better to wait a few months. 🏃 ♂️

The Vaporfly 3 just aren't wowing most of us over these and due to that, everyone I know who are marathon abd half marathon runners are buying 1 to 2 pairs of these while theyre on sale; I ran the fastest 12K I've ever ran by 6 minutes when I put mine on to go for a quick run to "break em in" so to speak. They just deliver in every way. Most elite marathon runners today you'll see with these on, the Adidas Pro 3s or Strung, Alphalfy's are in there as well but the amount of people at the frontier of the pack tends to have these. At least in the races I've been in lately. Mind you the Vaporfly 3 won't be in the US until the 1st but I don't expect everyone to make the change from the Vaporfly 2 to 3 as they're just not a significant difference to those in the UK I've been speaking with. Heck only 1 guy I know wore his 3s in the recent marathon and said he was surprised so many others who have the 3s still were running in the 2s.
To each their own. Everyone needs to focus on what works for them and ignore the rest. We're all different and have different shoe needs.
