Many of the popular Dyson refurbished cordless stick vacuum deals on Ebay have gone out of stock, but Dyson is
featuring many similar deals on its direct website at up to $170 off [dyson.com], including an outstanding V8 Motorhead version deal that I hadn't seen before. These are the ones with the extra discounts:
Refurbished Dyson V8 Motorhead Extra Blue $189.99 [dyson.com]
Unlike other Motorhead deals this includes the docking station, direct drive cleaner head, combination tool, crevice tool, and soft dusting brush. Great deal. NLA
Refurbished Dyson V8 Animal+ Purple $209.99 [dyson.com]
Includes the combination tool, crevice tool, soft dusting brush, mini-motorized tool, and "up top" adapter. NLA
Refurbished Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal $249.99 [dyson.com] NLA
Similar to previous Frontpage Deal. Includes the torque drive cleaner head, mini motorized head, combination tool, crevice tool, and soft dusting brush.
Refurbished Dyson V11 Torque Drive Blue $329.99 [dyson.com]
Includes the wand storage clip, high torque drive cleaner head, mini motorized head, stubborn dirt brush, combination tool, crevice tool, and soft dusting brush.
Sorry, no deals on models that include the soft fluffy head (which picks up larger debris on hardwood floors). If that's a deal breaker for you,
this $280 V8 deal is still alive.
As for whether to buy Dyson refurbs, FWIW
here's what NYTimes Wirecutter says about Dyson's refurbs [nytimes.com]. I've been using a Dyson V6 I bought refurbed 7 years ago and it's still going strong. The battery died after 4-5 years but it's running like new with an aftermarket $30 battery.

The worst purchasing experience I've ever had, beware.
Absolute comes with both of the big heads, carpet and "fluffy" hard floor head

I bought an after market battery from eBay for my v8, it works great!
If the only issue with your V8 is a dead battery, then you should not buy a new vacuum. The battery is not hard to replace. I have excellent experience with 1st Power aftermarket batteries [amazon.com] for Dyson. They are sold on Amazon and aren't the very cheapest batteries you can find, but they are much less than Dyson batteries and they really stand behind their batteries if there is any issue, even after the warranty period.
