You can always cancel via chat you don't have to call.
Good luck canceling after your 6 months is up. I am a Walmart + subscriber, but I wouldn't touch this offer. I think they had the same deal with Spotify or YT Music before.
Better to get free xm radio for 3 months offer and avoid the pain of trying to cancel.

Completely agree here. They are absolutely relentless in trying to get you to stay on. I had to tell them for months to leave me alone before they finally stopped.

I've never had an issue trying to cancel. I've had SiriusXM twice in my life (two one-year periods) in 2018 and 2021. Neither time was there any issue cancelling. The first time I called them and received no hassle, the second time I cancelled online with no hassle. I've had much worse issues trying to cancel Spectrum internet or any other number of subscriptions than with sirius.
Everybody who's saying it's hard to cancel, that has not been my experience. I've always found it very easy just to cancel. They try to get you to stay and drop the price. I've always paid $5 a month, approximately.. and I had it for years. Additionally, I never pay with a credit card. I always send a check. I have them invoice me.. they usually charge a couple bucks for that. But I get them to waive that too. As always YMMV
you request an invoice and send a check every month for years for a $5 charge?
are you for some reason just purposefully trying to generate processing/time value costs from both ends that exceed the actual transaction amount
I would never pay a dime for this, SO annoying that it cuts out everytime you fly under an overpass.. I would never give them my credit card, I do their free, no credit card needed trials though. Great for Vegas trips, not many overpasses in the desert and even less radio stations..
This is only for the streaming app to use in the car, not actual car radio. Very deceiving
Huh? It even says "6 months FREE of SiriusXM in your car" on the Walmart+ dashboard. The app one is a whole different offer and says "Stream 6 months FREE on the SXM App"

When I clicked onto the left offer for car, "it says listen in your car on the app" in the fine print. I did a chat and they activated a trial and I now have 6 months streaming and car after some back and forth
I also just canceled Sirius XM via chat just this week. Just be polite as they keep asking you to stay and say thanks but no thanks. I talked (chatted) to the support person like a human being and they did the same in return.
The service is perfectly fine so I don't have any comments on that, but know that if you ever cancel, they will continue to call, email, and snail mail you with subscription offers until the day that you die.
After that, they will call, email, and snail mail any living heir and anyone who lives at any of the addresses you resided at during your time on Earth. With subscription offers.
I'm not going to kid you, they might still find you after that.
PS - You can haggle on price with these guys. I was getting the full year at $77 the last I had their service. That was 8 years and three homes ago.
