Most Samsung monitors including this have VA panels. They've optimized their VA panels pretty well. Probably because of their TV business.

Planning to buy one for myself. Heard hdr is not great on the Samsung. How do you like your Gigabyte?
I really like it, I have no complaints. Use it for work and gaming. Been going strong for little over a year now

For clarity, I don't have skin in the game. I went with the MSI Artymis 343CQR. If I had to pick a favorite from these three though, I'd pick the Gigabyte based on a brief trial run I had with one. But the HDR was admittedly pretty bad on it...
