I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

Yeah I think so. I could remember what the field was, but I remember being surprised I had not done any porting steps during check out.
I hope you have similar luck with the CSR. I tried to get them to reminder the sim or to send me a new sim for free, the refund was offered without me asking.

They will keep talking about "your account" even though I had not opened an account. Go with the flow… this is just how their system is set up (janky). The most important thing is to make sure they disable the auto billing on that account. I got an email conf about that so I feel confident it is all set.

I ported a different number than the contact number, no problem.
When I logged in account and clicked 'activate', a form for porting information appeared, filled the form ( name, phone number, account number, port PIN, address, zip code).

That is what I thought but the guy at the Boost mobile store claim that I would need to have both phones present and pay an activation fee of 35.00
